Privacy Policy

1. Information You Provide

When you use Bwake, you may provide:

• Your email address and authentication information.
• Your profile name and profile photo.
• Reality names, descriptions, and images.
• Images added after marking a Reality as Manifested.
• Reality Stages and their completion history.
• Inspired Steps, including ideas and steps taken.
• Experiences and their creation, feeling and completion history.
• Journal entries, including writing connected to a Reality or Path and day, week or Path summaries.
• Optional answers about how your day felt, Path choices, progress and reminder settings.
• Visualization and Presence Practice history.
• Feedback, improvement suggestions, and problem reports.

Photos are accessed only when you choose to select or capture an image for use within Bwake.

2. Practice and Activity Information

Bwake stores information needed to provide practice history, statistics, synchronization, and guidance, including:

• Visualization dates and durations.
• Presence Practice dates and durations.
• Breathing interaction data, such as the number and duration of inhale and exhale movements.
• Practice goals, daily returns and streaks.
• Personal Path start, pause, completion and review activity.
• Saved journal entries and optional lookback answers used to display your own daily, weekly and overall summaries.
• Available recorded-practice listening history, favorites and download preferences.
• Reality Stage and Inspired Action activity.
• Dates associated with creating, updating, completing, or deleting content.

This information supports features inside the app. It is not used to diagnose, monitor, or treat any medical condition. Feeling selections and personal reflections are optional self-reflection tools, not medical assessments. Text you choose to enter may contain sensitive information; only include information you want stored as part of your account.

3. Product Analytics

Bwake uses limited first-party product analytics to understand usage, onboarding and return frequency and to improve the product. The private administrator dashboard displays aggregate counts and percentages, not individual users' writing or reflection answers.

Analytics may use registration dates, app-opening activity, the app language you selected, and dates or first timestamps indicating that you:

• Created or manifested a Reality.
• Used Live It or Quick Reconnect.
• Saved an idea or took an Inspired Step.
• Created or felt an Experience.
• Returned to presence or saved a supported recorded-practice session.
• Saved a journal entry, without its text.
• Started or completed a Personal Path.
• Completed the actions that make up the first-steps checklists.

The new internal daily analytics records store participation flags or first activity timestamps, an observed app language and a hashed account identifier. Reports count distinct current accounts by period and selected app language. Recording coverage depends on app version and synchronization; offline activity may arrive later. We do not infer your nationality or location from the selected language.

Product analytics does not include Reality names or descriptions, Inspired Step or Experience text, journal text, selected feelings, reflection answers, images or other free-form content. Those personal records are handled separately to provide the features you use.

Hashed account identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous: they can still be related to the account using information we hold. We do not use these analytics for advertising, sell this information or track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Account-linked analytics, including daily app-activity records, are removed when your account is deleted. The current dashboard calculates its figures from records associated with existing accounts; deleting an account removes it from those reports.

4. Feedback and Support

When you submit feedback from the app, we receive the message and its category.

If you leave the relevant options enabled, the report may also include:

• Your app version.
• Device manufacturer and model.
• Operating system and version.
• App language.

Your account email is included so we can understand the account connected to the report and respond when necessary.

Feedback is stored using Firebase and delivered to [email protected] through Resend.

5. Information Stored on Your Device

Bwake follows a local-first approach. Some information is stored on your device so that the app can remain responsive and continue supporting appropriate features when connectivity is limited.

When you are signed in, supported information is synchronized with cloud services so it can remain available across your devices. This includes Experiences, journal entries, Path progress and saved lookback answers. Not every local preference or listening record is synchronized. Downloaded practice audio, playback history and cached content may remain on your device until removed through available app or device controls.

Reminder settings are used to schedule device notifications where you enable them. Notification display depends on your operating-system permissions and settings.

Removing the app may remove locally stored information, but it does not automatically delete information already synchronized with your Bwake account.

6. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Store and synchronize your Realities, Experiences, journal entries, Path progress, lookback answers and related activity.
• Provide Visualization and Presence Practice features.
• Calculate history, statistics, streaks, and guidance.
• Restore your information on another signed-in device.
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
• Understand product usage and improve Bwake.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we process information:

• To provide the service you request and perform our agreement with you.
• For legitimate interests such as security, reliability, support, and limited product improvement.
• Based on your choice when you upload an image or include optional technical information in a feedback report.
• To comply with legal obligations when required.

8. Services That Process Information

Bwake uses trusted service providers to operate the app and website:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, and synchronization.
• Google Sign-In when you choose to sign in using your Google account.
• Resend to deliver support and feedback messages.
• Cloudflare to host, secure, and deliver the Bwake website.

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy commitments and only for the services they provide to us.

In the current Premium preview, paid purchases and trial enrollment are not connected, and Bwake does not collect payment-card details or activate a paid membership. If store purchases are introduced, Apple or Google will process the store payment under their own terms and privacy policies; the data involved and any additional purchase-service providers will be disclosed before that integration is enabled.

9. International Processing

Bwake is operated from Israel and uses service providers that may process information in other countries.

App records may be stored in European Firebase infrastructure, while uploaded files may be stored in the United States. Other service providers may process limited information in additional locations.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by our service providers for international data transfers.

10. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers.

Information may be shared:

• With service providers necessary to operate Bwake.
• When you intentionally use a sharing feature.
• When required by law or necessary to protect users, Bwake, or others.
• As part of a future business transfer, subject to appropriate privacy protections and notice where required.

11. Data Retention

Account information and synchronized user content, including Experiences, journal entries, Path records and lookback answers, are generally retained while your Bwake account remains active, unless you remove supported records earlier.

Account-linked product analytics is generally retained while the account exists and is removed when the account is deleted.

Feedback records stored by Bwake are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review and respond to the submission.

Downloaded audio and local caches may remain on a device until cleared using available app or device controls. Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in service-provider backups until overwritten according to the provider's normal retention cycle.

12. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account from within Bwake through the account settings.

Account deletion removes:

• Your authentication account.
• Your Bwake profile.
• Your Realities and associated content.
• Reality Stages and Inspired Actions.
• Visualization and Presence Practice history.
• Experiences, journal entries, Personal Paths, lookback answers and associated summaries stored with your account.
• Uploaded profile and Reality images.
• Per-user analytics state linked to your account.
• Locally stored account data on the device completing the deletion.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting a Bwake account does not cancel any subscription billed separately by Apple or Google; if applicable, manage it in the relevant store. You can still request immediate account deletion.

If you cannot access the app, visit the Delete Account page on bwake.app. The website flow allows you to sign in securely with the account connected to Bwake and initiate deletion without reinstalling the app.

If you cannot access the authentication method associated with your account, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before deleting information.

13. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion.
• Receive a portable copy of certain information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Submit a complaint to an applicable data-protection authority.

To make a request, contact [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

14. Children’s Privacy

Bwake is not intended for children under 16.

You must be at least 16 years old to create a Bwake account. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use Bwake only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that an account was created by a child below the permitted age, we may delete the account and its associated information.

15. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including authenticated access, encrypted connections, user-scoped cloud storage, and restricted backend operations.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

16. Website Privacy

The Bwake website does not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing analytics.

Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, security events, request logs and website-performance measurements to deliver, protect and operate the website.

The private analytics and account-deletion pages use Firebase Authentication. Signing in can store authentication state in your browser so you remain signed in. The analytics report is restricted to the authorized administrator; signing in to the deletion page alone does not delete your account.

Links to Google Play, the App Store, or third-party services are governed by the privacy practices of those services after you leave the Bwake website.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Bwake, its service providers, or applicable legal requirements change.

The updated policy will display a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice inside the app or through another appropriate method.
